Puppies must be a minimum of 8 weeks old before they can leave Beaupark according to regulation.
I prefer puppies to be around 10 weeks old if they are travelling a long distance by road, 12 weeks if flying.
If puppy is travelling home with new family, 8 weeks is acceptable as the puppy will have comfort from new owner on it's journey to new home.
Puppies have 3 in total.
1st vaccination at 6-8 weeks old
2nd vaccination at 10-12 weeks old
3rd vaccination at 14-16 weeks old
Generally the first vaccination will be given then subsequent vaccinations will be required by new owner.
If puppy is being held longer than 8 weeks old, then a 2nd and/or 3rd vaccination may be had before leaving.
Puppies have been having nail trims since they were 2 weeks old so a regular weekly trim is best to keep the nails at a good length and the quick will recede with regular trims
You will be given some instructions on meal times and diet when you come to pick the puppy up as well as a dinner pack for the first couple of feeds.
Puppies are raised on fresh beef mince with vegetables, yoghurt, sardines, oats and a good quality dry kibble.
It is important not to change the puppy's diet suddenly as they can get an upset tummy, always make changes gradually.
